Webpage: Healthy Transitions: Speaking Up at the Doctor’s Office

This education module provides information that families and professionals can use to help youths who have developmental disabilities to speak up at the doctor’s office. It is part of a 10-unit curriculum that was developed for families, health care providers, service coordinators and other professionals who would like to facilitate the transition from pediatric to adult health care for youths who have developmental disabilities.
