Through research, training, education and advocacy, NFPA’s mission is to reduce the burden of fire and other hazards on quality of life. This webpage provides planning guides for evacuation, fact sheets on emergency planning and other useful materials for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. NFPA also offers a quarterly newsletter called e-ACCESS that provides safety information specifically for people with disabilities.
