This article discusses a study, conducted by researchers from the UC Davis MIND Institute, that compares development in Hispanic and non-Hispanic children. Results indicate that a higher percentage of Hispanic children often have undiagnosed developmental delays or autism. This led researchers to recommend increased public health efforts to improve awareness, especially among Hispanic families, about the indicators of developmental delay and autism.
