Location:

Woodland Community Church
9607 State Road 70 East
Bradenton, FL 34202

Sadly, bullying is still a very real problem among today’s youth. According to the Stop Bullying Now Foundation, one out of four students will be abused by another youth. National studies report children with disabilities are two to three times more likely to be bullied than their nondisabled peers. One study shows that 60 percent of students with disabilities report being bullied regularly, compared with 25 percent of all students. The 2014 Family Network On Disabilities Conference, titled Stand-up to Bullying, will tackle this important issue while providing strategies designed to stop bullying in its tracks! Our very own Amy Goodman will serve as one of the guest speakers.
