Autism NOW Answer Series #18: What is vocational rehabilitation?
I do not have sound speakers at my workstation so I was unable to hear the content. I am looking for help determining vocational interests/aptitudes of new client (moved with family from out of state last year) with ASD and average intelligence. He is 18 years old. Granted eligibility for NYS ACCES- VR services. Recommended Diagnostic Vocational Assessment but individual won’t speak with unfamiliar examiner/work site coach. Any suggestions? Aware of any college scholarships for individuals with ASD? Thank you!
