Happy Holidays from the Autism NOW Center

The year is quickly coming to an end, and it is time again to enjoy the Holidays. 2011 was a good year for the Autism NOW center reaching over 1 million families, professionals, self-advocates, and the general public through our social media outlets, and we are expecting 2012 to be even better.

When I was a young academic at Oxford University, I was lucky enough to work with several autistic students, helping them to negotiate the complexities of that ancient institution and of college life more generally. Every one of them touched my life – and influenced my work – in profound and distinct ways.
