This toolkit provides strategies, resources and tools for parents, teachers and students with disabilities to help all confront bullying. For parents, it offers conversation starters, advice, resources for learning about state laws relating to bullying, and information about how a child’s IEP can help prevent bullying. For students, it offers resources to help promote self-advocacy, urging them to speak up about bullying. Strategies to prevent bullying in schools are also offered to educators and support staff. Additionally, this toolkit also includes top ten facts about bullying and harassment of children with special needs.
