Research Brief: University of Minnesota: Postsecondary Education for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

This policy research brief, developed by the University of Minnesota’s Institute on Community Integration, reviews current knowledge and research practices associated with postsecondary education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Researchers analyzed existing programs and literature in order to create a proposed Postsecondary Education Taxonomy, which is intended to provide a framework and assist program developers in understanding the characteristics and outcomes of postsecondary education programs for individuals with IDD.
