Academic Research: Anxiety Disorders in Children and Adolescents with Autistic Apectrum Disorders: A Meta-Analysis

This Meta-Analysis includes articles about Autistic disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS). It is looking at the prevalence rates (what percentage) of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) also have a anxiety disorder as well. It looks at seven different anxiety disorders including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety disorder (SOC), specific phobia (SPH), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), separation anxiety disorder (SAD), panic disorder (PAN), and agoraphobia (AGP) fear of leaving the house.
