Autism NOW Family Panel Tonight!
Autism NOW will be hosting a family panel on transition issues this evening, February 17, 2011, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM EST. At this panel, parents who have gone through the transition process, parents who are going through this process currently, and parents who are just now beginning to help their children transition will be discussing their experiences and concerns. Experts and representatives from national autism and developmental disability organizations will be listening in to these stories and responding to them in later webinars. Autism NOW Family Panel Tonight!
Is anyone working on a Family Panel system for each State and perhaps counties
within those States? Funding should be available through some sort of government agency to accomplish that task, right?
Someone should model a system like “AA” or other 12-step programs so that networking can be accomplished in each major city. Is something like that already set up or does someone need to do some “trailblazing”???
